This page describes how the current QuoteGenius application handles information. It is written to match the product's implemented behavior and does not claim practices that are not implemented.
You may enter business details, client details, job descriptions, line items, quantities, prices, tax and terms. Business details, customer details, quote content, history and preferences are stored in your browser on your device so the application can restore them later. QuoteGenius does not intentionally upload that stored quote history to its servers.
QuoteGenius can provide a local scope scaffold without sending the job description to an AI provider. If server AI drafting is enabled and you choose to use it, the job description and supported trade answers for that request are sent to a QuoteGenius server function and then to the OpenAI API for processing. The AI drafts editable scope language only; you remain responsible for quantities, prices, tax and terms.
QuoteGenius does not intentionally store the raw AI job description or AI response in its entitlement database. Server-side records used for AI metering contain pseudonymous or Whop account identifiers, usage counters, credit transactions and subscription state. Processing and retention by the AI provider are subject to that provider's own terms and privacy practices.
Free quoting and PDF downloads do not require a Whop account. If paid upgrades are enabled, QuoteGenius uses Whop sign-in so a subscription or AI-credit balance can be attached to a stable account. QuoteGenius uses a signed, secure, HTTP-only session cookie for this purpose. Account identifiers, usage counters, credit balances and subscription state are stored in Netlify's server-side storage to meter and fulfill paid or metered features.
Checkout is handled by Whop. QuoteGenius does not receive or store your payment-card number. Server functions receive signed payment and membership events from Whop and use the configured product and plan identifiers to update the matching entitlement. Historical paid-PDF entitlement records may also be retained so prior purchasers can recover a document they already paid for.
When you submit the feedback/support form, the email address and message you provide are sent through the form-processing service used by the site so the request can be handled.
The application records product-flow events used to understand whether the quoting flow is working. The product code is designed not to send raw job text or client identity as marketing-analytics fields.
Browser-stored information remains until it is replaced or cleared from your browser. Server-side account, usage, payment and entitlement records may be retained for fulfillment, recovery, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes. The current application does not represent a fixed deletion schedule. You can clear local browser data at any time and use the support page for privacy requests.
The current application uses infrastructure or services from Netlify and the site's form-processing provider. Whop is used for sign-in and payment features when those features are enabled. OpenAI is used only when server AI drafting is enabled and requested. Those services process information under their own terms and privacy practices.
